The Look

Candlelight has an amazing ability to transform a room, sometimes more so than floral centerpieces. For a modern Moroccan party, the tables were decorated with different graphic linens printed in India, as well as an assortment of clear and mercury glass hurricanes.

Steal It

Inexpensive votives and pillar candles become magical when used in numbers.  Instead of having glassware match, mix in gold-rimmed glasses with silver-rimmed ones for an elegant but unfussy look.  Mercury glass is costlier than clear glass but can be used for accent pieces.
