For this July wedding of Gabrielle and Michael in Newcastle, Wash., just outside Seattle, the decor had one simple inspiration: a green cymbidium orchid with a raspberry throat, the bride’s favorite flower. It informed the mostly subtle color palette of the wedding, livened up with pops of the raspberry hue woven throughout.
A less formal accent to the wedding? Nods to the state of Arizona — because many of the wedding party and family members come from that state. It also served as a theme for many of the pre-wedding events.
