In honor of fall, I give you this boutonniere.
I can’t think of anything more autumny than this. It has the colors brown, gold, purple and green. And it holds spotted feathers, seed pods and stems with cottony nubs on them. (The real words for any of these items would be very much appreciated.)
It’s one of the most creative boutonnieres I’ve seen. How about you?

Beautiful boutonniere!
The stems with soft ends are pussy willows. The seed pods might be milkweed, but I’m not sure.
Thanks, Stephanie — it’s definitely unique! And I really appreciate your help IDing the items in the boutonniere, CynicalGirl. I would never have thought of milkweed!
Lovely boutonniere. It perfectly fits into that grooms outfit.
Fall is definitely on the wedding blogger’s mind…great boot!
Thanks, Barn Weddings & Tim Duncan — I agree. It’s eye-catching and goes perfectly with his suit!
