Sometimes I pin items on a Pinterest board and forget about them. Then months later I realize, oh hey, that pin is STILL getting repinned. Such was the case with this sheer, airy gown.
My thought: This gown must be fulfilling a need that isn’t being met because people keep scrolling down to the bottom of my Wedding Day Style pinboard and then singling it out for repinning.
It’s not entirely surprising. Strapless wedding dresses with full skirts have been in style for a long time, and we’ve just started to see a wave of new options. Wedding dresses with sleeves for starters. And now, apparently, there appears to be interest in more flowy, bohemian-style wedding dresses.
What you can’t tell in that original pin is that the dress has a short underlay and a long overlay.

It might be the perfect wedding dress for a girl who can’t decide between long or short. (Camel optional.)

who is the designer of this dress?
Hi Kristin — This dress isn’t a wedding dress per se, so it’s not part of a continuing line readily available. It came from this boutique: http://www.bonadrag.com/. Here’s the original shoot these photos came from as well, in case that helps: http://josevillablog.com/2011/07/cover-of-rue-magazine/. Sorry I can’t provide more info! If you find it, let me know!
