As a bride, it’s hard to resist the lure of a veil, but there are so, so many options. Above is a sample of wedding day hair accessory styles, from the uber-traditional cathedral length veil to a quirky take on a tiara to a super-wide lace headband.
It probably goes without saying, but please consider your wedding dress when selecting a headpiece. If you love the back of your wedding dress, a veil that covers it up might not be the best option. Your hairstyle should also make sense with your selection. You may want to choose a hairpiece first and determine which hairstyle would suit it or vice versa, so the look is more holistic. Even if you’re not sure which direction you want to go for your wedding day accessories, go ahead and bride yourself out when you’re trying on dresses at a bridal shop — try on a bunch of styles and see which one suits you and your dress.
I’m providing details on where to get the headpiece below, when available. Some of these looks were featured in real wedding photo galleries, such as the flyaway veil and cloth flower. And we have a whole post detailing mantilla veils. Check out more wedding hair accessories and wedding hair looks on our Pinterest boards, and be sure to follow us on Facebook!
